Location: Wellington CommunityContract Permanent Part Time (0.8 FTE) Monday to FridayHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders About the Role This role is part of a multi-disciplinary team and holds responsibility for clinical psychology support to the team, particularly through individual & group-based assessment and treatment, consultation, supervision, formulation and assistance with programs that enhance continuous quality improvement.
About the Team/Service/ Location The South community mental health team is a friendly supportive team, with a recognition that enjoying our mahi enhances our service delivery.
We have a range of clinical skills and personalities that mean you can find your place with us.
Covering the Southern and Eastern suburbs of wellington affords us a diverse caseload of clients with equally diverse needs.
We strive to provide a service that fits the range of needs we encounter and puts the person at the centre of what we do.About you * Registration in the Clinical Scope of Psychology * Proven experience in working with highly complex client presentations.
* Experience/training in multiple therapeutic/assessment approaches.
* Experience of stepped care/management of referrals for psychological therapies.
* Experience of providing clinical supervision to others.
* Experience of undertaking quality improvement initiatives relevant to clinical psychology.
