Hanmer Springs is a stunning resort town located 90 minutes north of Christchurch, known for its thermal pools, incredible walking and cycling tracks, close proximity to skifields, and outstanding local hospitality. Our client's venue is famous for providing the very best local fare, an exceptional range of beer/wine, and legendary service. We're looking for a Duty Manager for one of Hanmer Springs' popular gastropubs where people go for good times, great beer, and awesome hospitality.
About the role We are looking for a Duty Manager or experienced Bartender who is looking to step up to join the team at a popular venue right in the heart of Hanmer Springs. Your role will include ensuring all patrons feel as though they're at their home away from home This is a full-time role with 40+ hours per week available for the right candidate. The hours will be predominantly afternoon/evening shifts with some late night finishes (2am on weekends). Accommodation is available.
About you You'll be an experienced Bartender or Duty Manager looking for an exciting change If you're truly passionate about what you do but don't hold a current Duty Manager Certificate, then this role could give you the opportunity to upskill and gain that qualification. You'll be physically fit, motivated, and have a love for people. Your product knowledge will be second to none, and the pub scene is right up your alley You'll also need to be keen to relocate to this famous resort town, either permanently or for a fixed term which can be discussed at interview stage.
