Central Landscape Supplies is your one-stop-shop for bagged and bulk garden and landscaping products, this is where beautiful gardens begin. You must enjoy being outside in all seasons, injury-free, and able to move at least 20kg. This is a 7-day-a-week operation.
Our yard manager will lead by example, have exceptional interpersonal skills to engage the small team and be committed to building strong customer relationships. No two days will be the same so we hope you thrive on variety and can't wait to get to work each morning.

Proactively manages the yard and takes ownership of overall yard performance.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and staff.
Ensures a positive and productive work environment.
Be a product knowledge expert.
Provides leadership and training to develop the team.
Commercial smarts, sense of urgency, ability to create winning ideas.
Solid IT and process understanding with an eye for detail.
Ensures a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
Working alongside the owners to create a collaborative, energized, and fun environment.
You will be experienced with 4-wheel loaders and forklifts, ideally WTR certified.

Exposure to the landscaping or a related field would be advantageous, but applications will be considered if you can demonstrate learning competence and the right mindset. We are also willing to support those who do not yet have their WTR but are willing to become certified.

Central Landscape Supplies is excited to be expanding its footprint in the Hamilton area, with a bespoke yard on Puketaha Road, Hamilton. Situated on the city boundary, with its roots firmly in rural country, it's the best of both worlds. Located on the northeastern side of Hamilton city and just 4 minutes from the Expressway's 'Chartwell' turnoff or Rototuna, our Eastside yard is perfectly positioned to beat the traffic to your landscaping needs.
Eastside is fully family owned and operated by long-term locals who have experienced the explosive growth in Hamilton and especially in the local neighborhood. We are looking for people who share our innate passion for providing a welcoming customer experience. We love landscapes, we love being part of the local community, and we love to support people who are team players, so we all hit our goals.
The yard is opening early 2025, with the roles commencing January 2025.
