As they continue to expand, they're looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team and get stuck inAbout The RoleThey are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator to support their growing pipeline of projects.
This is a client-facing role, so you'll be working directly with clients, helping them to achieve their project goals.
You'll need to be someone who's happy to get hands-on, delivering accurate and detailed cost estimates while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately estimate project costs for commercial and residential new buildsCollaborate with project teams to analyse specifications and identify cost-effective solutionsImprove estimating processes through best practices and innovationProvide technical guidance on cost-related matters throughout projects, including tendering and procurementCommunicate cost estimates effectively to stakeholders and assist in decision-makingMaintain close client relationships and provide support throughout the project lifecycleMonitor project budgets, track costs, and take corrective actions as neededAbout YouPrevious experience estimating electrical projectsStrong technical knowledge of NZ electrical standards & pricingEWRB registration preferred (but not essential)A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck inExcellent client-facing communication and relationship-building skillsProficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office SuiteHighly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing costs and risksThe BenefitsSalary: $100K - $115K (depending on experience)Company car included in the packageA strong, supportive team culture with room to growCareer development in an established, growing businessWork-life balance - a company that values its peopleFast-paced and exciting projects across a range of commercial and residential buildsIf this sounds like your next move, let's have a chat
