We are looking for a part-time, fixed term drum instructor.
Our kura provides education for the multicultural diversity of Manurewa.We are seeking a dynamic and skilled drum instructor (5 hours on Mondays) to deliver engaging and effective drum lessons to students in Y9–13, aligning with the New Zealand Curriculum Levels 4-8.The successful candidate will not only impart technical drumming skills but also contribute to the vibrant musical culture of our school through participation in events and maintenance of our drum equipment.Candidates should have empathy and understanding towards our students and their culture as well as the ability to create flexible and ongoing assessment practices for students.If you believe you have the energy and passion for this challenge and are keen to effect change, we welcome your interest in our school and we invite you to apply.
