Our people are passionate about dentistry and the important part it plays in the health and well-being of New Zealanders.As the leading provider of dentistry in the country and with 88% brand awareness, we're the number one choice of dentist throughout New Zealand.We invest in our people, with training and resources to keep them at the top of their game.We ensure our clinicians and clinical teams receive great training and development opportunities as well as modern equipment and the technology to help them grow professionally.If you enjoy working with patients and watching them walk out the door loving their smiles, then you will enjoy being part of the team at Lumino the Dentists.Lumino Sanctuary Botany Dental in East Auckland is seeking a very experienced dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team on a Full-time basis.In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals.Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and materials are readily availableAssist dentists during various dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, root canal treatments, and surgical extractionsProvide chairside assistance and knowledge of dental instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clean and organised surgeryTake and develop dental radiographs as neededMaintain accurate patient records and update treatment informationSterilise and disinfect dental instruments and equipment according to established protocolsGreet and assist patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experienceMaintain inventory levels and stock surgery as necessaryMinimum Requirements:2-3 years experience as a Dental Assistant preferred and/or completion of an accredited dental assisting programKnowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and dental staffStrong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilitiesProficiency in using Exact dental software and professional phone mannerAbility to work well in a team environment and provide exceptional patient careBenefits:Plenty of onsite parking for your convenienceEasy access to major bus routes—getting here is a breezeJust 5 minutes away from the vibrant Ormiston Shopping CentreUniform provided—no need to worry about what to wearJoin our fun and active social club—great vibes guaranteedApplying with Us?
