You will impart your wisdom and knowledge of managing hotel and guest expectations to all members of your team, growing each individual to strengthen the consistency of service delivery.The right person for this role consistently has a proactive attitude towards our guests, making them feel special and naturally welcome to our hotel.
You have a passion to provide excellent customer service and strive to improve on your services.
This position will give you the unique opportunity to engage with a variety of guests, both from New Zealand and internationally, who have high expectations around quality, personal, and unique experiences.A Full NZ Driver's License is a must since you will be responsible for valet parking services.Responsibilities will include:Greet and welcome guests that walk through the front doorAssist with luggage (loading and unloading from transportation)Valet park vehicles when requiredStand for extended periods at the Concierge desk and Hotel's main entranceDeal with challenging situations and special requests in a timely mannerMaintain the cleanliness of the entrance and lobbyMaintain, share, and inculcate the brand standards of the hotel across the Concierge team in conjunction with the Chief ConciergeThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel environment (preferred)Physically able to lift and carry luggageExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsNZ citizenship, residency, or a current valid work permit is a mustImmaculate personal presentation and grooming standardsFull New Zealand Driver's LicenseThe ability to multi-task and deliver on time; as well as flexibility to work shifts, including weekendsGood knowledge of local attractions around Auckland Central and in the wider New Zealand is beneficialAn exceptional can-do attitude that is continuously looking at ways to enhance our guests' experienceWhat we offer at CPG Hotels:Paid Birthday OffEndless career and growth opportunitiesFantastic rewards and recognition initiativesFree access to hundreds of online Hospitality coursesA variety of amazing corporate discountsSound like a good fit?
