We are looking for a responsible, friendly and highly motivated person with a great team attitude to join our busy Bakery team in a full-time role.
No two days will be the same
Our Bakery team produces high quality products, including specialised orders, and we have a consistent commitment to excellence.
Key tasks include: Ensure equipment and the workspace are clean, safe and ready to roll for productionCheck the quality of ingredients, measure and weigh what's neededKnead, cut, mix and shape dough and pastry goodsCreate our top-tier bakery products, from classics to crowd-pleasersKeep an eye on the oven and make sure every batch is cooked to perfectionManage the whole baking flow – from loading the trays to cooling fresh batches of bread, rolls and pastriesAdd the finishing touches – glaze the buns and decorate the cakesSafely operate machines which roll and mould dough and cut biscuitsClean and prep baking trays, tins and other equipment, ready for the next roundAbout you: The successful candidate must have a NZ Register Level 4 qualification or at least three years' experience as a baker.
