Visiting some of the world's most wild, least-explored and biologically rich regions on the planet including Antarctica, Japan, South Pacific, and Australia and New Zealand's Subantarctic Islands. If you love travel, enjoy wildlife and natural history and have a good worldwide geographical knowledge you might be the person we are looking for.This is a newly established role as a part of our small busy and friendly Reservations team. This position will be involved in all aspects of sales and reservations, managing reservations and ongoing relationships with both direct clients and the travel trade from around the world. Ideally, this role would be Christchurch based but remote working from other locations in NZ or Australia will be considered for the appropriate candidate with regular visits to Head Office in Christchurch NZ.We are looking for a self-motivated person with all or most of the following skill sets:Highly organised and focused with good time managementAbility to multi-taskGreat computing skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication skills written and verbalExperience in the travel industry is an advantage but not essentialA passion for customer service and ensuring all details of our clients' pre/post travel experience are seamless.A passion for travel, wildlife and the great outdoors is a definite advantage and a positive, hard-working, can-do attitude is essential.We welcome your application for this role which provides a great opportunity for the successful applicant.
