Head Teacher Position at BestStart PinnaclesWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Registered Teacher to lead our team as the new Head Teacher with our over 2-year-old children in Wanaka, Otago.BestStart is a leader in the early childhood sector, providing high-quality education and award-winning childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

As a Head Teacher, you will be based in our mixed over 2's room where we encourage children to develop their independence while providing opportunities to extend their skills.About the Role:This is a permanent position working 40 hours Monday-Friday.We are seeking a Head Teacher who will have a positive impact on the Centre, exemplify the BestStart values and vision, and inspire and motivate the team.Key Responsibilities:Lead the team in delivering quality care and education, focusing on programme planning, pedagogy, and curriculum.Develop and implement educational programmes that meet the needs of our children.Requirements:B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification.A strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy, and curriculum.Why Work at BestStart?We offer a great benefits package, including full pay parity, discounted childcare, subsidised health insurance, and leadership programmes for current and future leaders.Opportunities for professional growth and development, and the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our children and their families.Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
