This role sits within All of Government Services Delivery (AoGSD), part of the Digital Public Service Branch (DPS) who bring together the functions that deliver services to or for the public sector and is responsible for an All of Government Portfolio of digital products and ICT Services.
The role of the Digital Public Service branch is to work with and through agencies to drive and deliver a customer-centered digital government.
We champion the use of Common Capabilities and centralized essential information products and services across agencies, as well as championing All of Government standards and guidelines.
The Back Office Digital Transformation Service (BoDTS) is one of these centralized services and has been created to reduce the cost, risk, complexity and time taken to deliver back-office systems, through standardized, high quality, all-of-government processes, tools and systems.
The Service provides agencies with a common set of standardized processes and will provide tools to support agencies as they modernize their back-office functions (e.g.
HR, Finance, Procurement) making use of previously used collateral and design to streamline the process, to lower cost and risk, and to increase efficiency.
As the Product Marketing Manager, you will play a senior and influential role in the marketing and promotion of the BoDTS and will work with the team to lift the profile and uptake of its product offering.
You will be responsible for designing how the BoDTS will inform, educate and influence Agencies and across the Government system regarding the Service and the products that exist for Agency use when undergoing their back-office modernization projects.
As a solution-focused campaign manager you will utilize your experience in developing and promoting digital solutions and product plans to bring Agencies on the journey.
You will be responsible for:
Supporting the Manager System Engagement and Operations and System Engagement and Operations team on all aspects of delivering an exceptional engagement strategy and planWorking closely with the System Engagement team within the BoDTS in the provision of proactive, strategic and operational material to lift awareness of the BoDTSCreating the marketing and promotional strategy for the Service, ensuring branch Senior Leadership team buy-in and support of the strategyDeveloping and implementing the marketing plan for products within the ServiceCreating content and other collateral to raise awareness of the Service and help agencies understand how the Service can deliver benefit to agencies through all parts of BoDTSDeveloping and maintaining a clear marketing roadmap for stakeholder engagement and management, that links to the achievement of the BoDTS service across the systemEnsuring BoDTS engagement and communications efforts are coordinated across the BranchStrategically advise, influence and leverage key relationships to enable achievement of BoDTS objectivesProviding advice and expertise on cross-government product collaborationSeizing opportunities for collaboration between agencies, facilitating and leveraging introductions between key people within agencies/DIA/external partiesSupporting DIA engagement with external agencies in an integrated manner that assists in the achievement of all of government service delivery objectives and priorities and avoids duplication of effort and expenseInfluencing stakeholders' opinions and sentiment on BoDTS, ensuring a positive perception of the service by key agency, supplier and stakeholder audiencesEnsuring that as the engagement practice evolves in iterations and as the BoDT service matures that the marketing products, strategy and plan is reflected in this evolutionRepresenting the BoDTS at partner agency forums and provides a key connection point into government agencies.Comfortable in the spotlight and as a product marketing pro, you are adept at forming positive and productive relationships and can work at all levels of an organization influencing change.
As a natural orator and highly credible and influential manager you will lead the relationship with Government in the uptake of products through marketing, promotions and relationship management.
