Add expected salary to your profile for insightsKey Responsibilities:Formwork Construction: Build and install formwork systems (timber, steel, or other materials) for concrete pouring, including foundations, slabs, walls, and columns.Read and Interpret Plans: Follow detailed blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine formwork layout and construction methods.Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment at all times.Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.Quality Control: Ensure all formwork structures are built to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.Tool and Equipment Management: Use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.Requirements:Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter.Strong understanding of formwork systems, including both traditional and modern methods.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in the construction industry.Physical stamina and strength to handle manual tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Strong English, communication, and teamwork skills.100% confidence with driving heavy trailers.Full NZ Class 1 license.Apply TODAY for work starting in the New YearApplicants must have open NZ work rights.
