The Clinical Nurse Coordinator leads people, systems, processes, and resources to deliver effective and efficient care and services to meet the needs of patients and their whanau. This includes but is not limited to the management of staff during the shift, allocation of care and resources, and demonstrating professional leadership. This is a Monday to Friday position.
This role requires the successful candidate to be:
A Registered Nurse with a current Practicing Certificate within the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an acute mental health setting – have excellent Mental State Examination and Risk Assessment skills.Perceived as highly effective, progressive, and knowledgeable in a mental health setting, in accordance with legal, ethical, cultural safety, and professional standards.Knowledgeable about the Mental Health Act (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992.Possessing coaching and mentoring skills.Able to support and implement change.Committed to quality and excellence with a proven ability to contribute to process improvement.Able to uphold the Te Whatu Ora Te Ahu values.Willing to undertake training that will enhance professional knowledge and performance.Do you share in our vision, our values, and will ensure our patients feel supported and cared for throughout their journey with us?
