The specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure data processing pipelines, ensuring that data is protected at every stage from ingestion to analysis.
This includes applying encryption, access controls, and secure data handling practices.Key Responsibilities:Continuously monitor data pipelines and storage systems for security breaches or anomalies, responding swiftly to any incidents to contain and mitigate potential threats.
Regular audits and vulnerability assessments will also be a key part of this responsibility.The specialist will ensure that all data processing activities comply with relevant data security regulations (e.g., GDPR, etc.).
This includes implementing and maintaining documentation and controls that demonstrate compliance.The specialist will be required to conduct regular security assessments of data processing systems and provide detailed reports on the security posture, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements.They will work closely with data science and engineering teams to integrate security into data models, algorithms, and workflows, ensuring that security considerations are part of the development and deployment processes.Regular (e.g., quarterly) security assessment reports that evaluate the security posture of data processing environments, identify vulnerabilities, and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security measures meet business needs.Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.Key Requirements:Minimum of 5 years' experience in Data cybersecurity or a related field.Proficiency in implementing secure data engineering techniques, such as data anonymization, differential privacy, and secure multi-party computation in data science projects.Awareness of security risks in machine learning models, such as model poisoning, adversarial attacks, and data leakage, and strategies to mitigate these risks.Familiarity with secure storage solutions for large datasets, including encrypted databases, data lakes, fabrics, and distributed storage systems.Experience in implementing data governance frameworks, including role-based access control (RBAC), data access policies, and data lineage tracking.Ability to assess and mitigate security risks in data science projects, including handling sensitive data, model interpretability, and ensuring the security of data outputs.Perks and benefits:Flexible hybrid working arrangement.Competitive contract rates.Be part of multiple cutting-edge technology projects.How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.
