When you join us, you become part of that effort.We have an experienced and dedicated veterinary, nursing and customer service team to support you as the clinic coordinator. You will need to have a passion for the local community and the ability to provide leadership for our Taumarunui business support team.Your proven experience in managing and leading a small team will complement your knowledge base in the animal sector. We are looking for someone who can lead a team forward, offering your expertise, knowledge and life experience to really get behind the clinic's focus of providing great service.This is a 40 hour per week position, working 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, however we are looking for the right person who is not limited to these hours and has some flexibility available on an individual basis.You will also have some financial expertise along with business performance including budget management. Strong administration skills will be required as you will be responsible for generating reports on all aspects of the clinic's operations.Areas of responsibility:Leadership of the customer services teamContribute to the clinic leadershipAssist and identify customer needsMarketing and promotional strategiesUpdate of database detailsShowroom merchandisingPolicy and procedures managementFacility management for the premisesHealth and safety maintenanceSkills and experience you will possess:Solid experience in creating and developing a high performing teamStaff management and responsibilityExcellent organisation and administrative skillsStrong inventory data managementEffective communicator and mentorAbility to provide problem-solving solutionsManage time, prioritise and work effectively under pressureThis is a unique opportunity to join a diverse, well-established business.
