With over 130 practices nationwide, we are the heart of every New Zealand community and want to ensure we are providing the highest standard of care to our patients & ongoing support to our clinicians.Lumino Nelson is currently on the lookout for a Dental Assistant to join the team on a casual basisAs one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support. You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld, and the best patient care is provided. You will also take control of tasks such as sterilisation and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilised following best practice guidelines.This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer care.Responsibilities:Assist clinicians during dental procedures, such as taking X-rays, sterilising instruments, and preparing materials.Greet patients, review their medical history and answer any questions they may have.Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for use.Minimum Requirements:Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required.Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.Proficiency in computer software applications including EXACT.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Lumino Nelson is located at 72 Collingwood Street in Nelson City.
