An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Site Manager in Auckland to join a leading construction company.
This role offers the chance to lead on-site teams, ensuring maximum client satisfaction, quality requirements, build time requirements and margin.
What you'll do: Induct new Sub-contractors to the team and ensure they are aligned with all on-site Health & Safety procedures.
Provide training, support and advice as required to ensure all team members are working towards set project objectives.
Liaise with other areas to ensure that handovers between the various teams are smooth.
Provide feedback on local issues and opportunities as well as regular project reporting.
Give feedback on warranty or plan design issues where appropriate.
Coordinate procurement of building supplies and other related goods and resources.
Assist the Finance team with updates on outstanding billable work, monthly claims, retention calculations.
Drive a strong Health & Safety culture through the whole team ensuring full compliance with all H&S requirements at all times.
Ensure alignment of site activities to project budgets.
What you bring: Proven experience in site management within the construction industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
Experience in financial management including budgeting and cost control.
Ability to provide technical building advice.
Experience in coordinating procurement of building supplies and other related goods and resources.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with various teams.
