Create beautiful, market-leading men's clothing. About the Role: We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to fill a Buying position, with ample experience in the contemporary fashion retail industry to join a global fashion house.
With a passion for fashion and trend, this role will be responsible for identifying brands and trends that underpin the brand and their customer's lifestyles.
You will be responsible for the sourcing, developing and introducing product ranges that suit their stores and customer base.
You are accountable for the strategic development, performance and maintenance of the buying process and activities within the organisation to obtain the best possible combination of price, quality, and service.
You will direct the development of plans for buying process activities to include management to achieve targets.
The ideal candidate will take a systematic proactive detailed approach to the role, ensuring forward planning, with associated deadlines, prioritising goals, tasks and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities: Source and develop new and exciting brands, incubate ranges, create brand experiences and leverage great relationships with both our branded suppliers and vertical designers.Accountable for sourcing, analysing and delivering a new brand strategy and brand management.Ability to forecast trends and develop products accordingly with a strong understanding of fabrication, trims and finishings.Identify and action opportunities.Source season fabrics taking into consideration trend, fabric capabilities for each product category.Skills & Experience: Minimum five years' + experience at a Buyer or Senior Buyer level ready to take the next step.
