You will utilise the range of tools in your kete to provide practical and evidence-based advice.
This role will provide an opportunity to apply your skills to a diverse set of policy areas as part of a legislative reform.
We are a close-knit policy group that works across a broad range of policy issues, and this role also provides an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in new areas.This policy role sits within the Strategy, Policy and Ministerial function that is responsible for driving our overall strategic direction and delivering on our policy work programme.
Our three policy teams work collaboratively, so in addition to policy projects, you will get the opportunity to work alongside colleagues in strategy, regulatory stewardship, and research.We have an exciting work programme that provides an opportunity to contribute to real change for Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our work is delivered across four key pillars – Overseas Investment, Property Rights, Geographic and Property Information, and Maori and Crown Land.
We are responsible for 15 pieces of legislation including the Public Works Act, the Crown Pastoral Land Act, the Land Transfer Act, and the Ratings Valuation Act.
