As a Civil maintenance worker, you will perform general maintenance and repairs across our road network and assets.Get your career kickstarted in a reputable large organisation with this full-time opportunity, offering 40 hours a week.
Your hours of work will be from Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 4.00pm with the opportunity to finish early on the Friday.
We want to shape your career path with the training and upskilling we provide at Ventia, along with the career progression opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Operation of work vehicle to drive around the road network and locate faults to any of the roads assetsPutting up safety signs for road users to operate safelyGeneral Maintenance and repairs across the road network.
E.g.
– Filling potholes, fixing, and replacing road signs, painting signposts and sight railsCut back hanging branches protruding over the roadsBasic debris and rubbish clean up, such as clearing of Kerbs, channels and cesspitsKey Skills & Attributes Include:Basic competency of construction equipment including hand and some power toolsClass 2 driver's licenceBasic aptitude with technology.
