For more info visit: About the role As a HVAC Service Supervisor, you coordinate the HVAC service operations onsite. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to clients, handling complex service issues, and driving operational efficiency. A key part of the role will be ensuring projects and tasks have been completed on time, ensure this is accurately reflected in Aroflo. You will escalate any operational issues or technical issues to the management team. You will ensure that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs. Schedules repairs for parts to ensure minimal down-time in job completion. You will be responsible for training the onsite team, and ensure they are able to internal system such as Sharepoint, Outlook, MS Teams, Rapid Induct, Rapid Incident, Aroflo. You are responsible for ensuring team are compliant in Rapid Induct, ensure they have competed required online learning and external training course and ensure they complete vehicle inspections in Rapid Audit, and report and incident and hazard in Rapid Incident. You are responsible for creating a positive team culture, whereby everyone is treated with respect, and everyone is accountable for getting their jobs done. You should drive the important or working safety onsite, and facilitate toolbox talks to promote safe work practices. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, between the hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm on Monday to Friday. You may also be required to work reasonable additional hours from time-to-time. The primary place of work will be at Trak Group office located at 51 Felix Street, Penrose. Due to the nature of the role and the business, the worker will be required to travel to, and work at, client and prospective client sites all travel within Auckland region. Responsibilities: Team Supervision: Assist in managing a team of 10 HVAC Service Technicians, providing direction, support, and mentorship. Ensure team members are following company procedures and delivering quality service.Daily Operations: Oversee daily operations including scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating service calls. Ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.Customer Interaction: Address customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring that service issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction. Act as an escalation point for complex service issues.Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of service technicians. Provide feedback and conduct performance reviews in collaboration with the HVAC Service Manager.Team Culture: Create and sustain a positive, inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration, respect, accountability and professional growth. Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to address concerns, provide feedback, and recognize achievements.Training & Development: Provide training on how to use internal systems, Outlook, Sharepoint, MS Teams, Aroflo, Rapid Induct, Rapid Audit, Rapid Incident. Identify skill gaps and arrange or provide additional training as needed to ensure team proficiency.Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of service work and perform audits to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.Inventory Management: Assist with managing the inventory of HVAC parts and equipment. Ensure that technicians have access to necessary tools and materials.Safety: Promote and enforce safety protocols and procedures. Encourage staff to report hazard and incident in Rapid Induct. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.Compliance: ensure all staff have the licences certificate and qualificationns required to perform role, and ensure they uploaded documents to rapid, and arrange for them to attend external training when required. Ensure staff complete all company online learning in Rapid.Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician performance, and other relevant data. Prepare and present reports on department performance and operational metrics to the HVAC Service Manager. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience in HVAC industry Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Certificate Hold Electrical Workers Registration Board EST License Why join the team?
