We are looking for leadership attributes in you - the ability to mentor, influence, and effectively communicate with the leadership team.Key Responsibilities:Managing a L1 Risk team that role models 3LoA, is effective in coaching and supporting their business to manage their risk profile.Coaching, supporting, and managing all aspects of the application of the Operational and Compliance Risk Management frameworks within the risk division business units.Monitor the risk profile to highlight where unsatisfactory levels of residual risk exist.Escalate and report on material risk outcomes, ensuring adherence to material Risk policies and frameworks.Lead implementation of all regulatory change and compliance related activity that impacts the risk division.Support and challenge a robust compliance control environment across the division.Identifying and improving Line 1 Risk processes and influencing improvement opportunities within Line 2 Risk culture - fostering a strong Risk Culture and growth mindset, role modelling the ASB 'mindsets.'What can you bring?Significant experience in operational risk, compliance risk, and governance.Proven continuous improvement experience and change management skills.In-depth understanding of risk & compliance frameworks, legislations, and processes.A curious mind with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience communicating with senior leadership.Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to quickly build relationships.The application of critical thinking skills to the identification of risks, risk mitigation, strategies, and process improvement opportunities.What will you get in return?In return, you will work for an organisation that places huge importance and focus on its people, where the sky is the limit for development and career opportunities.
