Within the Directorate of Enforcement and Resolution, the DCS team is in an establishment phase.The Senior Analyst is expected to play a key role in developing and delivering the DCS work programme.
This includes providing high quality analysis of regulatory obligations for DCS, as well as ensuring these requirements are met.
The Senior Analyst will also be contributing to processes and frameworks of DCS pay-out readiness, levy and fund management, industry engagement and core DCS documentation and reporting.O pukenga - About youYou are passionate about the contribution you can make to New Zealand's economic wellbeing.
You have a proven ability of being highly effective in managing external and internal stakeholder relationships and can work collaboratively across the team and wider stakeholder groups.Please get in touch if you have:Strong analytical skills and conceptual mindset, attention to detail and sound judgement.Extensive, broad-based experience in a financial institution, regulatory or public sector environment is essential.The ability to effectively manage relationships and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the Reserve Bank credibly.The ability to design and implement strategies to achieve required decisions and actions.A pro-active approach to managing workload, identifying new initiatives and seeing them through.A willingness to get involved as required to support the wider DCS Operations team deliverables.A strong academic qualification in banking and finance related disciplines, with at least five years' relevant professional experience in related fields.Ko wai matou - Who we areWe're kaitiaki (guardians) of New Zealand's financial ecosystem - enabling economic wellbeing and prosperity for all New Zealanders.
