This role is required to engage positively and supportively with the high-calibre individuals that our Minister will be seeking to appoint to across the full range of entities and boards within the portfolio.Portfolio Lead, Nominations and Secretariat Services - will lead the nominations workstream for Te Puni Kokiri to collaborate with stakeholders across the public sector to deliver the role of Te Puni Kokiri as a nominating agency.
This role is crucial to supporting other agencies to be able to put forward high quality governance role candidates from te ao Maori.
The twin focus for this role will also afford the opportunity to deliver professional secretariat support to advisory groups and governance bodies.Portfolio Lead, Performance Monitoring - will lead the performance monitoring workstream for Te Puni Kokiri and will take a hands-on approach to monitoring the diverse range of statutory entities within the Maori Development portfolio.
They will be responsible for the provision of analysis and reporting on entity performance, as well as provision of advice to entities and the Minister on ensuring entities are positioned to deliver strategically.
The ability to read a balance sheet and prepare budget bids will go hand in hand with the necessary relationship management skills to engage with entity management from time to time.These roles offer a unique opportunity to influence Maori development and Crown-Maori relations through strategic leadership and operational excellence.Appointable salary range between $133,248 - $166,560 (100%) will commensurate with skills and experience.
