Job Description
Te kaupapa o te turanga - The purpose of the role.
We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor security cameras
Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
Interact with customers and address their concerns
Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

Hours for the role are (29 hours):

Tuesdays and Wednesdays 15:30 - 22:30
Fridays and Saturdays 08:00 - 16:30

Qualifications
He korero mou ake - About you
Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.
Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
All applicants must have a clean Ministry of Justice Criminal History check.
