About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager who enjoys the hunt and creating new sales opportunities by leveraging your relationship management skills and network to uncover further potential within the Residential and Commercial building market.
Based at CARTERS Queenstown, you will manage an existing ledger of customers while hunting new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
We're looking for an experienced account manager with a successful sales track record or an ex-builder with solid planning and organisational skills who is great at building relationships, driven, and has a keen interest in sales.
Not from the building/construction industry?
Don't worry, we are committed to investing in your development and will induct you into the industry.
However, a non-negotiable for us is your passion for sales, being a hunter with an eye for emerging markets, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
As an Account Manager, you'll have the autonomy and flexibility to manage your call cycle, ensuring results-driven engagements with customers on building sites, identifying opportunities, and understanding your customers' builds while anticipating what they need next.
You will develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure we provide complete solutions and packages for customers.
You will be heavily involved in the entire sales process, collaborating with internal teams around stock availability, delivery times, and pricing to ensure customer needs are met and issues resolved in a timely manner.
You will also drive the sales process through Frame and Truss Manufacturing from estimates through to production.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will be a natural when it comes to customer service and sales as well as a true hunter.
