We are looking for a vibrant Customer Care Specialist to join our team at The Y Massey Leisure Centre.
This is a great role, combining the best of sports, fitness, and sales
With a minimum of 15.5 hours per week – the required shifts are Tuesday and Wednesday 1:30pm – 9:15pm with the possibility of cover shifts throughout the week.
What will you be doing? Handle all reception services and customer queries whilst creating a welcoming and friendly environmentConfidently drive retail sales for the centre, utilising customer information to support up-sell optionsDeliver excellence in customer service at all times to maximise customer satisfaction and retentionMaximise cross-selling opportunities with all programmes offered at the CentreEnsure all administration tasks and data entry are performed in a timely and accurate mannerWhat experience/skills do you need? Minimum six (6) months Sales experience, proven sales experience, with ability to up-sell and cross sell products and servicesKeen interest in sport and fitnessComputer Savvy and competent in Microsoft Office productsAbility to work independently or work well in a team across all cultures and ages with YMCAExcellent communication skills, both spoken and writtenHas an empathetic approach, respects confidentiality and the privacy of others.What The Y offers: Free gym membership and discounts on The Y services e.g.
