NZCL is looking for energetic and motivated individuals to support people in their own homes.We are looking for casual Support Workers to help the people we support in our Lower Hutt Residential Services.What does a Support Worker do?
- He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko?This is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and helping them do the things they want to do, such as going swimming, personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks, and teaching life skills.
The list is endless
Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support, with the potential for additional sleepover payments included in some rosters.What do you get?

You need to be respectful of others' thinking and their way of living life that may be different from your ownFlexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekendsEmpathy, respect, and cultural awareness are important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.If you are passionate about supporting people, then maybe there is a role for you here.
