It is part of the MidCentral Healthy Ageing and Rehabilitation (HAR) Cluster based in Palmerston North and has links to the Community Elder Health Team.Essential RequirementsThe ability to adapt easily in a changing environmentThe ability to be flexible and prioritiseThe ability to work effectively within a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA high degree of physical capacityExcellent time management and organisational skillsSensitivity to cultural and ethnic differencesAbility to maintain strict confidentialitySuccessful completion of a Care Givers or related course.There is an expectation for the successful candidates to complete a study programme which includes self-directed workbooks.
Any comparable course already undertaken by the successful candidate will be taken into account.
