Role Overview:As a Senior Account Manager, you are responsible for having a thorough understanding of your client's business, leading the day to day operations for your client. You will work with the client & specialist teams in EssenceMediacom to ensure the output from EssenceMediacom is of a consistent high quality and that, for responses to brief, the strategic approach flows seamlessly through all facets of the brief response. You will ensure that the output from the team is of consistent quality, seamlessly translates strategic approach from end to end and that all deadlines are met. You will be curious, passionate about your clients' business so as to unearth & develop business challenges into solutions that will drive our business forward.
Key Deliverables:PEOPLE Organises self and team to deliver client work that consistently meets or exceeds the clients and EssenceMediacom's expectations in line with agency processes.Ensures all individuals know their roles, responsibilities and deadlines when responding to a client brief prior to work commencing, alongside senior team members.Regularly shares knowledge about client business with team members where relevant.PARTNERS Drives the delivery of high-performance servicing to clients, ensuring they feel well-resourced and receiving value in return for their agency investment.Builds deep client relationships, facilitating a highly valued EssenceMediacom relationship.Always provides clients with a well-informed POV (across category, media and marketing etc).PRODUCT Develops an understanding of the EssenceMediacom planning philosophy and process framework, and follows it as relevant to deliver the required client output.Leads account briefs on relevant accounts, delegating responsibilities where necessary, but ultimately owning the delivery of work. On larger accounts, this will be done in tandem with the AD / ABD / BD.Implementationally strong, cares as much about execution as strategy and takes ownership for the implementation.Supports the GBD/ABD in the development and delivery of annual strategic account plans for clients.Ensures quality and timely work output across the set client portfolio.PROFIT Understands the contractual arrangement of clients and how we need to deliver for them.A clear understanding of growth requirements across Client Portfolio.Responsible for ensuring that clients pay all outstanding debts in accordance with agreed payment terms, assisting in resolving any specific disputes that arise.Contributes to new business projects as required.Knowledge and skills Undergraduate degree or equivalent.4+ years' experience in media agency or equivalent organisations, primarily focused on client leadership.Good knowledge of the NZ media market, and a healthy interest in major Global markets.Client management experience.People management experience.Knowledge of the digital environment and the changing communications landscape.If this role sounds exciting, APPLY NOW
