We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our dedicated team in Women's and Children's Health. A commitment to patient centred care and multi-disciplinary teamwork is essential. Applicants must be both flexible in their approach and be willing to contribute positively to the service with particular focus on elective services. The applicant must be eligible for medical registration in New Zealand.
Key responsibilities of the role:
Ward rounds and ward work
Pre-theatre assessments and operation lists
Multi-disciplinary meetings, case conferences and reviews
Skills and experience you'll need to be considered for the role:
Vocational registration in Obstetrics and Gynaecology speciality
Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand with scope of practice
A practising certificate with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Professional indemnity insurance
Satisfactory check as per the Children's Act
Experience in building and sustaining collaborative working relationships in a high-pressure environment to enable and deliver effective change management.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to negotiate, resolve conflict and positively influence and motivate others
