You will contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of policies and procedures.Who we're looking forTo be successful in this role you will:Be enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team.Have an aptitude for both creative and analytical thinking when problem-solving, and the ability to apply intellectual rigour to issues under consideration.Successfully engage with stakeholders; providing a high standard of customer service.Have an appreciation of current international political, economic and security affairs and a broad understanding of New Zealand's role and interest in them.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.Having relevant experience in the intelligence and security sector, preferably with good exposure to intelligence products and services would be an advantage.The work is interesting and complex and offers the professional and personal satisfaction of challenges; if this sounds like you, apply with us todayAppointing range:Level 1: $73,684 - $78,596Level 2: $87,048 - $92,851Before you applyWorking within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.You must:Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 yearsORHold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearanceOrdinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.The NZIC treats all applications for employment in the strictest confidence and we expect that you maintain a similar level of confidentiality during the recruitment process and throughout your career.Salary Band F $73,684 (90%) - $94,152 (115%), Band G $87,048 (90%) - $111,228 (115%)Midpoint of the salary range (100%) reflects full competence in the role.
