Are you keen on working with a wide range of professionals alongside a multi-national team of Physiotherapists?
Then we want you to work in our acute inpatient team at North Shore Hospital We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our highly skilled and dedicated inpatient orthopaedic team at North Shore, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team in a high paced and busy clinical environment.
Te Whatu Ora – Waitematā is leading the way in the Northland region in digital innovation with electronic patient notes, e-prescribing and e-vitals and have strong links with our community and outpatient services.
Key requirements for this role: (see link to PD below for full details)
• New Zealand registered Physiotherapist with current APC
• 2+ years of recent inpatient experience, preferably acute & trauma orthopaedic and surgical patients
• Ability to lead, support and mentor / supervise junior staff
• Experience with student supervision
• Strong clinical assessment skills, great communication and fast thinking Within this role you will receive:
• Support and development of your personal and professional goals
• Support and mentoring from senior clinicians and clinical coaches
• Education to be able to support junior staff with clinical development and supervision
• Regular professional supervision from experienced clinicians
• Opportunities to contribute to service delivery and quality improvement projects Training and support for this available
• Credentialing for weekend work: required to work 3 weekend days/3-month roster If this sounds like you then apply online
