As well as providing Ambulance Services, our programmes and team of over 11,000 staff and volunteers are helping to build strong, resilient communities across the motu; supporting everyone in Aotearoa to live healthier, happier and longer lives.Job DescriptionAn integral member of the Wellington District, you will provide administrative, project and event based support to the wider District Youth Leadership team.Critical to this role will be your ability to work collaboratively with the District and Area Youth Managers to support program delivery with a focus on large scale events and administration such as venue bookings, arranging catering, AI and RAAP support, collation of paperwork, trophy engraving, certificates, and transport plan contacts.
As a member of the Leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Relief Leaders and Project Volunteers within the District including recruitment, support, engagement and encouraging team involvement in all aspects of the Youth Programme.Highly motivated and enthusiastic, you have a proven ability to identify with, and interact confidently, with young people and adults.
