The Opportunity MidCentral is growing community-based services and a key role is this community-based respiratory position. This opportunity is for a physiotherapist looking to specialise in respiratory. If you are motivated, enthusiastic, not afraid of a challenge and want to make a difference in people's lives, then you may be who we are looking for. This could be your dream job, there is the opportunity to shape this service how you want it to be. The position is running a community respiratory programme for people with chronic breathing conditions. You will be working one on one with patients in their own home, setting goals so that they can manage their condition long term. Using a combination of exercise, education, breathing techniques and equipment provision to help keep them active and out of hospital. Linking with community groups to enable ongoing exercise. Liaising with primary and secondary care health care to ensure continuity of care and early intervention when required. To be successful in this role you will need to be: Transformational and able to deliver innovative care to service users A New Zealand registered Physiotherapist with a current practising certificate. Able to meet the Physiotherapy Board competency requirements.
