Trainee Reinforcing Bender

Our Sockburn based client is a national reinforcing steel fabricator, manufacturing and supplying a wide range of products into the NZ and Pacific construction markets. 

Due to growth and with exciting plans to move to modern facilities, we are now needing to add to the team. Whilst the majority of the work is automated, there is a physical aspect of the role and you will be on your feet for the majority of the day. 

The current team is hard working and enthusiastic about what they do.Whilst this is an entry level role, it would be highly desirable if you have some technical ability/experience in steel manufacturing. 

What will you be doing: Operation of all automated machinery - variety of machines that require technical/mechanical aptitude Operation of double benders Manual bending Forklift operation Hours of work: Afternoon shift - 2pm to 11pm

Night shift - 11pm to 7am
