Working with the Checkout team in this busy and customer focusedenvironment, as a Checkout Supervisor you could expect to be:Working with the Checkout Manager and other Supervisors to arrange the daily operation of the checkout department including teammembers breaksServing customers in a warm and welcoming waySupervising Self Serve CheckoutsDealing with cash and payment transactionsEnforcing legislation around the sale of age restricted goodsOperating a CheckoutProcess lotto transactionsResolving customer complaintsEnsuring all transactions are processed correctlyEnsuring all cleaning is completedMaintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all timesHere's what you'll need:To be physically fit – you'll be on your feet all day, and movingbetween Checkouts and Supervising Self CheckoutsCustomer service driven – you'll spend a lot of time helping ourcustomersHave excellent communication skillsBe reliable, we are a close team and you'll be missed if you're nothereHave a good work ethicBe able to work well under pressureCope with the seasonal demands of working in a busy retail teamWhat's in it for you?Permanent full or part time roleEngaged and friendly team matesOn the job training and supportWe have a full or part-time position available.
