A Data Collector is a person that reports sport data from games directly from the venue or in our offices, for example: a goal or a foul in soccer or a basket in basketball.
The collected information depends on the sport covered and the role of the Data Collector.
To become a Data Collector, you must be based in the location you are applying for as you would work directly at the venue or in our offices in that country.
The payment scheme is based on performance and experience: the number of Experience Points will increase as the Data Collector spends more time with the company, and when the Data Collector performs well ensuring high quality of data.
The more Experience Points the Data Collector accumulates, the higher the payment will be for each game covered.
Tickets expenses are reimbursed, as are travel costs, according to the length of the journey and method of transport.
Payment is made on a monthly basis.

As a Data Collector you must be reliable, punctual, professional, honest, have excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.
Moreover, you will fulfill the following requirements: Ability to communicate in English even in stressful situations Knowledge of the English terms used in the sport you want to cover Ability to get to the venue(s) in the locations you applied for Availability to cover games, especially on weekends on a regular basis Competency in the use of information technology Additionally, each new Data Collector is given thorough training by the Operations Training Team.
Prior to becoming a Data Collector, you will need to successfully complete detailed training which will be comprised of a combination of self-learning videos, guides and quizzes, along with instructor-led training and a final test.
This process may take an average of 20 hours, depending on the role.

You will collect and deliver performance Cricket data collection in real time for one of the world's leading sports data and technology companies.
Key responsibilities: Deliver live coverage data within our highest standard measures.
Do post-match checks applied through the correct guideline procedures.
Have an excellent understanding of the laws of cricket.
This role will run from September to April and in addition to International matches, we cover Plunket Shield, Ford Trophy and both men's and women's Super Smash competitions.
To be considered for the role the candidate will need to live within a commutable distance of the main venue in their chosen location.
What we need from you: An excellent understanding of the laws of cricket.
Have an extensive knowledge of domestic cricket and its players.
Be experienced in scoring cricket matches (preferably via computer software).
Be flexible in your working hours and are able to commit to the matches assigned.
Be personable and work well on your own as well as part of a team.
Always punctual and reliable.
Excellent IT skills is a plus.
