Your primary role will involve:Maintaining the reliability of our fixed plant and equipment at our Mount Maunganui manufacturing site through preventative and corrective maintenance.Working alongside production, distribution, and external contractors, to ensure plant availability, maintain statutory compliance of equipment, and implement improvements.We are big on Health and Safety as we know we all have a collective effort in helping to get each other home safe.
This role is primarily a daytime role, however there is a shared requirement for rostered weekends and after hours work including call outs to provide maximum plant availability.ABOUT YOUWe are keen to hear from individuals that are excited about and can contribute to a positive team environment.
You know how to have a laugh but get the work done and you are flexible and adaptable to changing work demands.
You also:Have a strong commitment to the health and safety of yourself, your team and the environmentHold a Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent qualificationHave a practical understanding of RCA principlesThe ability to plan, organise, prioritise and meet agreed deadlinesA good level of physical fitness and ability to work with heavy machineryPractical knowledge and understanding in the use of a CMMS, SAP experience will be an advantageABOUT USWe're a 100% kiwi-owned cooperative and committed to working alongside our communities and customers to create a strong, sustainable future for all New Zealanders.
