Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday.

Haumaru Orite located in the prestigious Starship Children's Hospital, has a rare opportunity for a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team.
Haumaru Orite is the largest acute child and adolescent inpatient unit in New Zealand with 18 acute beds. The unit admits from the top half of the North Island including the Midlands region, metro Auckland and Northland. In addition, the Haumaru Orite hosts the 3-bed Auckland metro Mother and Baby Unit. This presents an opportunity for a Psychiatrist to work across a variety of interesting sub-specialties.
Te Toka Tumai offers opportunities to develop your skills as a clinician, within an experienced and capable multi-disciplinary team. You will be working to the top of your scope with a cohort of committed, and resourceful colleagues.

To be successful in this role you will be vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand with a current Practising Certificate or be eligible for registration.
