We are seeking an experienced Sole Charge Head Chef to join our team at Stafford Rd Wine Bar, located in the vibrant suburb of Northcote Point, Auckland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our customers.Key responsibilitiesManage all aspects of the kitchen operation, including menu planning, food ordering, inventory management, and staff scheduling.Develop and refine the restaurant's seasonal menus, showcasing your expertise in Hospitality & Tourism, specifically within the Chefs/Cooks domain.Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Maintain strict compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers.Monitor and control kitchen costs to maintain profitability.What we're looking forMinimum of 5 years' experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Sole Charge Chef in a similar restaurant environment.Proven track record of creating innovative, high-quality menus and delivering exceptional dining experiences.Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a talented kitchen team.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Passion for using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced produce.What we offerCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A collaborative and supportive work environment.Discounts on food and beverages at our sister venues.Ongoing training and development to enhance your culinary skills.About usStafford Rd Wine Bar is a popular and well-established wine bar in the heart of Northcote Point, Auckland.
