There are more than 600 of us in the NZ Network Services team and we are committed to being kaitiaki – guardians of New Zealand's future.We are seeking a Utility Arborist to provide Arborist/Vegetation services to ensure the transmission lines and network are reliable.
This work is both part of a programme and fault and emergency situations as required, working across the central and lower North Island.Nga pukenga matua | Important SkillsRelevant qualification (Arborist Level 4)Experienced in vegetation and arborist workPhysical stamina to carry out arduous manual work, often in trying conditionsDesirable SkillsUnderstanding of Land Owner LiaisonA thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements, including overhead distribution systems and of the Electricity (Hazards from Trees) Regulations would be beneficial.EWP operation and climbing experienceKo wai matou | Our OrganisationWant to know more about what it is like to work at Downer?
