In this role, you will report to the Delivery Manager - Construction and be based in New Plymouth, in the beautiful Taranaki area. You'll need at least 5 years of work experience and a current registration. To succeed in this role, it's essential to have the following:- Assist with work plans and complete necessary field paperwork- Relevant trade qualification with current practising licences, plus knowledge of Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards, and the Safe Manual – Electricity Industry (SE-MI)- Current Workplace Competency (WTC) with proven team leadership skills- A clean full NZ driver's licence (Class 2) is preferred- Ability to organise your workload and your teams to meet goals- Proactively promote a safety culture in line with legislation and company procedures- Strong interpersonal skills and technical aptitude- Excellent verbal and written communication- Commitment to health and safety, with a positive attitude and team spirit.About usNorthpower is an electricity and fibre network provider for Whangarei and Kaipara, with more than 60,000 connected customers.We are one of the largest multi-utility contractors in New Zealand, servicing the needs of clients in transmission, distribution, generation, fibre, renewables, and commercial sectors.
