Due to an internal promotion, BestStart Burnside is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Registered Teacher to join our energetic and tight-knit team as our new Head Teacher in our Kahu Room, working alongside our 3.5-5 year old tamariki.We value strong, reciprocal relationships between our children, whanau and our wider community.

We focus on ensuring our children are respectful, confident, competent, and responsible, and who are flexible thinkers that have a real love of learning.Role requirements:B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher CertificationA strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy, and curriculumPrior Head teacher or leadership experienceGood knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki, and hold compliance in high regardPassion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering qualityJoining BestStart means joining a whanau.
