The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing with opportunities to work on automation.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of our API and web-based applications.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform API testing (manual and automated) to ensure application reliabilityWork on web testing in collaboration with the web teamTake ownership of automation tasks and contribute to automation testing frameworksWrite and execute test cases, perform debugging, and ensure quality standardsCollaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environmentManage deployment processes using tools like Octopus and execute automated tests via TeamCityUtilize JIRA for sprint management and issue trackingWork with GitHub for version control, including branching and merging strategiesQuery and manage databases using MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL (DBeaver)RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience:Strong experience in API testing (manual & automation)Proficiency in C# and API automation frameworks like Reqnroll (SpecFlow)Hands-on experience with SQL querying and Entity Framework (EF) for database interactionsFamiliarity with deployment tools (Octopus) and automation test execution (TeamCity)Experience with Git (GitHub) for version control and code managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging issues through message flowsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teamsNice to HaveKnowledge of Microservices, Unit Testing, Component Testing, and End-to-End (E2E) TestingFamiliarity with Lens (for viewing Docker images/logs) and Queue Explorer (for message queue debugging)Why join us here at Datacom?Datacom is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services.
