In line with this, we are currently seeking a sales support professional to join our Trade Support team based in our Taupo Branch. Close to alpine mountains, rivers and the magnificent Lake Taupo, you could be living and breathing the kiwi dream if you want to relocateThe role:We are currently recruiting a Trade Support Team Member to join the team as a permanent full-time (40h per week across Monday to Friday and rostered Saturdays). This will be a busy yet varied role where you will be responsible but not limited to the following:Receive incoming calls from trade customersGive advice on PlaceMakers products and servicesFollow-up customer inquiries and orders with the dispatch areaSource and order special goodsProvide backup service for Account ManagersAbout you:The time-sensitive nature of our customers' needs requires you to work at pace and input data accurately and within specified timeframes. Your resilience and ability to be solution-oriented even when under pressure will certainly come in handy in this ever-changing environment.We will ideally be looking for someone who has some understanding and experience relating to the building/Trade sector, however it will be your Sales and customer service skills which we will be most attracted to.As your role will also see you liaising with other areas of the branch, you must have the ability to build rapport and enjoy a team-focused culture.
