About the roles Forensic Psychiatry - Reference Number: WDHB17824 Permanent Part-time, 0.6 FTE (48 hours per fortnight) You will provide a range of psychological assessments and interventions for people with offence histories, as well as provide consultation, supervision and training to other Mason Clinic staff and may be involved in the design, delivery and evaluation of group-based treatment programmes. Permanent Full-time, 1 FTE (80 hours per fortnight) The role involves providing assessments and brief interventions for service users and psychological consultancy to the team and whole-service delivery. The role offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, peer support, consumer and cultural advisors, and to work alongside service users and their family/whanau as they navigate a time of mental health crisis, to help them make sense of their experiences in the context of their lives, and to move towards resolution of that crisis and recovery. Rodney, Adult Mental Health Service (Community) - Reference Number: WDHB17167 Permanent Part-time, 0.7 FTE (56 hours per fortnight) You will be providing essential and highly valued specialist psychological services and consultation to the team. The role is based in Red Beach; however, this is a regional role and may be required to work from our other regional offices from time to time to assist with caseloads and provide some flexibility in your role. Permanent Full-time, 1 FTE (80 hours per fortnight) This is an exciting position that provides essential psychology consultation to the team, as well as assessment, treatment planning and therapy, with the opportunity for further development of the role. Alongside specialised clinical psychological input to some medical teams including the Emergency Department, general mental health assessment and consultation will be required as part of being a functioning member of the MDT. Mental Health for Older Adults Community Services - Reference Number: WDHB18868 Permanent Part-time, 0.4 FTE (32 hours per fortnight) The team provides intensive, recovery-focused treatment and support for people over the age of 65 years, with complex mental health needs and works across the culturally diverse population of Auckland's Waitemata region. Pasifika Mental Health - Reference Number: WDHB18649 Permanent Part-time, 0.7 FTE (56 hours per fortnight) Providing broad-based assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services, you will deliver clinical and risk assessment and treatment to Pacific community-based clients. You will also work as part of a multi-skilled multi-disciplinary team providing holistic treatment and recovery-based care. There is opportunity for training and delivery and evaluation of group-based recovery programmes. About you As a Psychologist for the Mental Health Services, you will be supported by a broader team of other psychologists responsible for psychological assessment, individual and group mode treatments, and consultation. You will provide a range of psychological assessments and interventions for people with offence histories, as well as provide consultation, supervision and training to other Mason Clinic staff and may be involved in the design, delivery and evaluation of group-based treatment programmes. A post-graduate degree in Clinical Psychology (or recognised equivalent). Registration with the NZ Psychology Board as a Registered Psychologist with a Clinical Scope of Practice.
