Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toService ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines.
Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation.
You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.
The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite.
This role is contributing to the Motion Business Area in Christchurch and will involve regular travel to customer sites in a variety of locations across New Zealand.
You will be mainly accountable for:Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer's operations and eliminate pain points.Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform.Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers.Qualifications for the roleYou are highly skilled in research and able to articulate technical documents and electrical schematics.You have 5 years of experience in relevant field working with power electronics, power converters, automation and industrial controls.Previous experience with ABB motion products e.g Drives, Motors, Controls.Possess an enhanced knowledge in industrial and marine electrical systems and maintenance.NZ Electrical Practicing License or International equivalent.
