Reporting to our Head of Product, you will play an integral part in this journey by developing attractive, innovative and profitable home insurance products that align to our risk appetite.
You will be the lead Product Manager for home and will also support other general insurance product lines as required in the team.
A key part of this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets market needs, regulatory requirements, and company objectives.
Dive into the heart of your responsibilities: Work with key stakeholders to develop and implement the home product strategy ensuring it aligns with Tower's overall strategy.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, underwriting, and claims teams to ensure cohesive product delivery and success.
Work closely with the Head of Product to align product strategies and initiatives.
Monitor performance of Tower's Home & Contents portfolio and work with colleagues from pricing, underwriting and claims to improve performance.
Ideation, evaluation and presentation of new initiatives that drive customer preference.
Lead implementation of initiatives working with colleagues from digital, finance, marketing, sales, and claims.
Develop product roadmaps that shape Tower's portfolio of the future.
Lead Product Governance for the Home & Contents Portfolio.
Support the Product & Underwriting Leadership team in ensuring all Tower's general insurance products are legally compliant and proactively manage business risks associated with the products.
Support Tower's Risk Based Pricing Approach.
What you'll need: The ideal candidate is a dynamic and innovative leader with a strong background in product management, particularly in home insurance.
They excel in cross-functional collaboration, ensuring products meet market needs, regulatory requirements, and company objectives while driving profitability and customer satisfaction.
You will also be able to demonstrate: 5+ years Insurance experience (house insurance preferable) with a track record of playing a key role in managing the performance of a portfolio and implementing new customer facing initiatives.
Comfortable interpreting general insurance policies.
Understand the intent of policy wordings.
Critical thinking - what could the alternatives be?
How do we evaluate the alternatives?
Commercial acumen - ability to determine what will be attractive to customers and worth paying for.
Ability to understand insights on portfolio performance and profitability.
Experience driving performance and developing innovative products.
