Permanent, full-time, skilled generalist role based in Wellington onlySupport the ongoing development of our processes, procedures and systemsSalary midpoint of $64,877, actual salary dependent on your experienceKo ake mahi - What you'll doOn any day you may:Upload papers, log, track, transfer and report on policy briefings, parliamentary questions, Ministerial correspondence, Official Information Act requests, Ombudsman cases, proactive releases and other key documentsComplete general administrative tasks as required (for example triaging incoming post, filing documents in SharePoint and the bespoke workflow system)Support the management of workflows, allocate and/or respond to correspondence and to requests for briefing reference numbers in our workflow systemEnsure data, systems and processes are accurate and updated in real time to support performance reportingProof or prepare reports, responses and presentations.Reconcile and maintain a register of IT software licencesKo pukenga - What you'll bringPrevious coordination or administration experience and excellent people skillsExposure to the Official Information Act 1982 and parliamentary processesAdvanced skills in the MS Office Suite, including SharePointExperience using communication and collaboration tools (such as MS Teams, Zoom) to assist the group with scheduling requirements and managing calendar invitesExperience with basic technical troubleshooting to resolve common issues with software, hardware, and networks relevant to workstreamsDemonstrated competency in time and task management, anticipating and managing issues before they arise, where possibleKo wai matou - About usAt Manatu Hauora – Ministry of Health we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance.
